Regents Park is located directly on the lakefront just south of downtown Chicago, in the storied, urban neighborhood of Hyde Park.  The area was settled in the 1850's and became Chicago's first suburb.  Today it is home to more than 40,000 residents, including more than 60 percent of the University of Chicago's faculty and nearly all of its students.
