With the first official day of spring just around the corner (it’s March 20th for those of you still in winter hibernation), we thought it was the perfect time to talk about spring cleaning!  That’s right, it’s time to dust off those cobwebs, clean out closets and clear the clutter that has no doubt piled up over the chilly winter months.  For some advice on how to get started, we turned to housekeeper extraordinaire, Martha Stewart.  Below are tips from her room-by-room guide, including ways that Regents Park can help with some of the dirty work!

KITCHEN: Dust your refrigerator coils (be sure to turn the power off first).  Empty all refrigerator and freezer contents, defrost and wipe clean.  Discard all expired food and baking ingredients.

LIVING ROOM: Clean upholstered furnishings, wax wooden furniture, and dust blinds - wash all curtains (to save time, drop them off at Regents Park Valet and move onto the next room)!

CLOSETS: Rearrange clothing for easier access to warm weather wear.  Donate apparel you no longer wear. Donation bins for household items, books, and gently used coats and clothing are locating in area D inside Regents Park Garage.
